Summer Family & Youth Ministry Assistant
30 hours per week, over the summer
Job Description
The Family and Youth Ministry of Albright Church exist to partner with God to see families, youth and children begin a relationship with Jesus, belong to His family, and become more like Him.
The Summer Family & Youth Ministry Assistant will assist in planning various summer activity programs for children, youth, and families, including a weekly “Art in the Park” morning for kids and families in the community, a weekly “Summer to the Max” VBS-style evening for kids, a volleyball camp for youth, and a community outreach movie night. The Summer Family & Youth Ministry Assistant will be involved in planning and preparing for programs and events, assisting in recruiting and overseeing volunteers and any other potential summer workers, delegating, building relationships, leading, and organizing ministry spaces. Other responsibilities may also include communication with families via email and our church app, the utilization of social media to promote and advertise events and programs, and graphic and video design and editing.
Requirements
- A youth or young adult, 15-30 years of age.
- Have a relationship with and are a follower of Jesus Christ.
- Affirm, support, and embrace Albright Church’s mission and values.
